About Us
Who We Are
We are a community and co-operative organisation. Every credit union is owned by the members - the people who save and borrow with it. People like you. When you become a member and start saving with your credit union, you have access to fair and reasonable rates on savings and loans. Your credit union doesn't make a profit. Surplus income generated is returned to the members by way of a dividend or is directed to improved or additional services required by the members.
Our main office is located at Monksland, Cooley but all monies can be paid in any of our three outlets :
- Cooley
- Carlingford
- Omeath
Our Community
Cooley Credit Union strives to provide a wide range of services to our members in our community. We also take an active role in supporting the social development of the community. Over the years Cooley Credit Union has had the chance to work with and support many worthwhile and worthy causes.
The Credit Union also works to support the community by organising events where people can meet and integrate together. Many of these events are aimed at the young population of the area. Events include:
- Primary Schools Quiz
- Children's Art Competition
We also support the following local sports clubs:
- Cooley Kickhams G F C
- Glenmore A.C.
